Keys to Adelaide!
Recently an anonymous Melburnian bid over $90,000 on an eBay auction for singer Cher’s key to the city of Adelaide. After winning, the bidder stated that he never had any intention to pay, and that the bid was supposed to highlight the disrespect that Cher had paid Adelaide.
Cher replied that she did not mean to auction off the key, and that it must have been listed by mistake by an assistant.
